Seder night when Jews everywhere recall the past is also a time when artist Laura Cowan dreams of the future. Her square Seder Plate, made from polished aluminum, recalls the world of outer space waiting to be conquered – the moon’s surface with its soft craters. The plate has six indentations of varying sizes to hold the six ritual items with the corresponding Hebrew words written above.
Each Seder Plate of Laura Cowan is individually prepared. So, everyone is different – a unique gift for a special presentation.
